Buggles is committed to supporting our staff, our parents and our children plus in 2012 we look forward to expanding our support to the communities within which we operate. Without the support of our local communities, our centres would not exist so we look forward to giving a little back to the communities that give us so much.

This support will be in the form of sponsorship, donations, event and in-kind support. Buggles is currently identifying a number of worthwhile causes to lend its support to and we look forward to providing more information in the months ahead.

Malaika Children's Home in Tanzania
The Malaika Children's Home provides a home for a small number of the 2 million orphaned children in Tanzania. Malaika means 'Angel' in Kiswahili. Malaika's goals are to provide a comfortable and safe home, a place for smiles, a place to grow. The home relies on the support of generous people to help pay for the upkeep of the home and the care of the children.

Buggles' link to Malaika is through an amazing individual Sue Lyons who is an Aunt of our owner David Lyons. Sue, a trained nurse, conducts many fundraising activities on behalf of Malaika in Australia and regularly travels to the Tanzania at her own cost to assist both in the care of the children in the home and the development of the facilities. We are very proud to be able to assist Sue in her work. We thank you for your generous donations towards this cause.
