Meet the Buggles Family!
Everyone who knows our centres is familiar with our much loved Buggle, and now there are four more special Buggles joining our family! Each Buggle plays an important role in and around our centres, teaching our children important lessons in regards to socialisation, health & nutrition, education, creativity and rest.
Hi, I am Buddy and I love to play. I know that some children are more confident than others so I like to teach everyone about socialisation and the importance of sharing, looking out for each other, playing nicely and having good manners. There are so many important lessons to learn as you grow up and so many things to remember. You might see some of my friendly reminders around the centres and nothing makes me happier than when I see children smiling and having fun. Play time is so much more fun when I’m around!
Hi, I am Rosie and I will teach you everything you need to know about health and nutrition, and the importance of being active. Having a healthy diet is so important for growing bodies so I like to make eating healthy food fun. I teach children which foods should only be eaten in moderation and I help parents create simple, tasty and healthy recipes for their children – no matter how fussy they are! I keep a close eye on the kitchen in every Buggles centre and I teach children everything they need to know about hygiene. In addition to having a healthy diet I am always active and there is nothing I love more than playtime fun! Healthy living is never boring when I am around!
Hi, I am Zac and I am extremely curious and inquisitive. I love to learn, explore and I will read any book I can get my hands on. My number one goal is to make learning fun and I thrive on the challenge of problem solving and inventing crazy science experiments. I help children to learn to read and write and I feel especially proud when I can help children overcome their difficulties to learn new tasks. Learning is never a chore when I’m around!
Hi, I am Bella and colour sends me CRAZY!! Nothing makes me happier than when I get to be creative and I love to draw or paint using every colour in the rainbow. I always encourage children to use their imaginations and this includes art, craft, music, reading, writing and playing. I also encourage parents to be creative because often as people get older they forgot how much fun and just how magical it can be! Being creative is always colourful when I’m around!
Hi, I am P.J and I love to sleep! When I am awake I am full of energy and you can’t slow me down but when it comes to nap time, no one loves sleeping more than me! I am the first one to go to sleep and the last one to wake up because I know how important it is to recharge my batteries so I can enjoy a full day of fun. I also teach children how important it is not to interrupt others when it is nap time and how everyone should respect ‘quiet time’. The Buggles Centre is never quieter than when I am around!
