We’re all in this together: How Buggles is sharing kindness in our community

In these times of uncertainty and change, it’s more important than ever to share kindness, connection and support in our communities where we can – and our Buggles centres are doing just that.

Whether it’s keeping children safe in centres, supporting families whose life circumstances have changed, or helping those who are keeping children at home, it’s clear wherever you look that love is all you need.

Buggles Beeliar

Our Buggles children provide us with so many magic moments – but the reaction when they saw the beautiful rainbow hearts on the door of our Beeliar centre, along with the bright rainbow chain links on the fence, was one for the memory book.

Their delight at the surprise makeover by our educators and teachers was a reminder that childhood is a time for happiness and laughter, and we’re making sure to deliver big doses of it for all the children in our care.

Buggles Spearwood

Staff at our Spearwood centre were also working their rainbow magic, decorating the fence with recycled materials and a bright rainbow drawn in chalk by the front door.

For children at home, educators have been creating take-home packs full of activities and relaxation items as well as some bright ideas to help mum and dad around the house.

Buggles Beldon

Kindy children at our Beldon centre all got involved in creating thank-you cards to send to parents who are healthcare workers and teachers, whose work is so vital to ensuring we get through this crisis.

We’re all in this together and doing best to make sure that your children remember it as a time full of colourful rainbows and joy.

What are you doing to spread kindness and show others that you are thinking of them at this time? We’d love to hear your stories.
